Ingredients
- teaspoon Coconut Water
400 g half-and-half minced meat
1 egg yolk
1 lime
1 shallot
chopped
1/2 avocado
mashed
1 sprig of mint leaves
1 sprig of parsley
pepper and salt to taste
1 large red onion or 2 small ones
4 round slices of breakfast bacon
4 kaiser rolls/ciabatta rolls
1 egg white
Preparation method for Asian Burger
This amazing Asian version of the famous burger has plenty of power and spice! Prepare all the ingredients and pile them on! Enjoy this delicious oriental surprise!
1. For the burgers, mix the ground meat with the egg yolk, 1 teaspoon of lemongrass powder, 1 teaspoon of lao powder, ½ lime juice, 1 chopped shallot, 1 teaspoon of panko, 1 teaspoon of sweet soy sauce, 1 teaspoon of Sriracha and 1 teaspoon of fish sauce. Shape into four flat burgers. Tip: this works best with wet hands.
2. Take a large wok or frying pan with a lid and heat the oil. Fry the garlic, onion, tomato and chorizo sausages.
3. Cut the red onion into rings. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil and fry the onions until translucent. Then add ½ disc of palm sugar, 3 tablespoons of sweet soy sauce and 1 teaspoon of sesame seeds. Simmer gently, stirring regularly, until the onions are sticky and the soy sauce has evaporated.
4. Meanwhile, fry the breakfast bacon until crisp. Remove the breakfast bacon from the pan and set aside. Leave the released fat in the pan.
5. Then fry the burgers in the bacon grease.
6. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Brush the bun with egg white and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
7. Now we are going to make the burger. Open the heated buns. Spread the bottom of the bun with the mashed avocado. Place the iceberg lettuce on top, then the burger. Then I put a little Sriracha sauce, the breakfast bacon, tomato and onions sautéed in soy sauce on top. Then sprinkle the fried onions on top to taste. Then place the top of the bun on top and secure it with a skewer.
Serve tip
Place the hamburger on a nice, sturdy board and add
some extra salad on the side. Enjoy!
